    Great Egret Flight

    Also known as the great white egret in Europe , shot on Ft Myers beach, standing in the water for this one with the beach and a lagoon in the background and focal length of only 98mm with the 70-200 and 1.4x

      certainly was, still processing images and have shots of well over 30 different species of birds

            Excellent work Stan, at a FL of only 98mm you must have been fairly close which makes it more difficult to pan.

              Thanks for looking guys

              at a FL of only 98mm you must have been fairly close which makes it more difficult to pan.
              I was quite close for static shots when he suddenly took to the air

                A great flight shot with perfect wing position. It's a pity about the background with the shoreline cutting through the bird.

                    I also have a few with clear sky backgrounds but liked this one as it was a bit different
