Bird ID please

Not posted here for some time. Just wanted to know what kind of bird this is? Thought it might be a wren
but not sure. Just a quick snap in the garden between the rain so nothing outstanding. Thanks for any thoughts.

Nice picture Treff, Its a Dunock more commonly known as a Hedge Sparrow.

Well done for recognising that it was something different. They usually get mistaken as house sparrow by a lot of people.
