    Eider

This magnificent Eider drake was observed in Seahouses harbour. Some may think this is a bit tight in the frame but it does enable the feather detail to be seen.

Nice image of a great looking duck. If you go to Farne in the summer you have to walk round their nests.

Smashing picture of an impressive duck, they breed round here, love watching and listening to the courtship displays.

You captured some super colours. Those we saw at Slimbridge last week were 95%black and white

The colours are stunning. Hoping to get to the Farnes next year so this has whetted my appetite.

You'll enjoy Farne. Hardest decision is which bird to photograph.

Need a bit of luck with the weather, which we didn't really have this year.

Great shot David, I didn't realise there were so many colours in their plumage.
