    Green Heron



    Another shot from Fort Myers Beach, Florida. You don't see many green herons and this one was a bit of a crop. It was a long way off in one of the lagoons and I could have got closer by wading out but probably wouldn't have been seen again as it was like a swamp!

    1DX/300mm f2.8 L IS II lens/1.4 III converter.

    stunning work, love the light on him as well

    just how much of a crop, your up at 420 and I'm interested to know just how much of a crop you will go before IQ becomes an issue ?

          About 1:1 in Lightroom. IQ is just starting to go off but I thought it was worth sharing.
