    For this sort of shot I think you either need to include all of the falconer or none at all and watch the background - You have just included his coat and clipped the end of the birds talons and tail and the head is split between the grass and a not very good sky

    If I were taking this shot, I would ether have stepped right back and included the falconer from the waist up and shown the whole bird on the fist or come in very close and just shot a portrait of the birds head and moved around to get an angle where the background was the grass rather than including a blown sky. Having said that the bird is nice and sharp for shooting at 1/50

        Cheers Stan, I see what you are saying I was just focused on the bird.
        You confuse me Ian, "lovely shot but you agree with Stan" He just rubbished it for good reasons and you like it too!?
