      You certainly like filling the frame. The beak looks a little soft on my monitor, which may be due to the head angle.

        I think it's more to do with closeness and d.o.f Brian ,as with the long one these birds are mega close ,normally I can get down to eye level to take them and they don't come so close ,but the lake levels are really high altering perspective and behaviour, as rather than lots of feeding spots there all bunched in one small area
