    Nice clear background and some goof detail Bill but a little overexposed as the breast looks bright white and has no detail perhaps re process and pull the exposure down by almost a stop and you will recover some but not all of the detail and crop with the bird at least slightly to one side so he has room to look/ move into

                Lovely shot of an iconic bird Bill. For me though, the exposure needs to be somewhere between the two. The second looks a little under on my screen now

                      looks like you have balanced thing up nicely in the edit - if mine I would look at brightening it a little to regain the impact of the first shot
