      Couple of good images, for some reason second one appeals more. Maybe its the pose of the bird.

            This is the same perch as the male siskin was shot on

            Surprised to see the blue tit ringed
            a wide variety of common birds are ringed especially at Blashford where there are quite regular ringing sessions

            Were you hand holding or on a tripod
            never use a tripod although when shooting in a hide the window ledge does provide a degree of support
