                            have you retired the 300f4 and extender pair now that you have the Sigma
                            not at all Peter, during the summer the 300 get much more use than the sigma as well as birds, I am often on the look out for dragonflies and butterflies as well where the sigma loses out due to the minimum focus distance and the 300 is better in some of the less modern hides which tend to have quite narrow windows
