    nuthatch ground feeding

    as the winter winds blow in the birds are stocking up and letting you get near ,no hide ,no screen in fact i was sat on a picnic bench in the open ,hand held at 600mm ,my best shot this year so far .

      Excellent shot Jeff. You do have very steady hands. I like the natural background,as you already know and the pale, pastel backgrounds pales into insignificance when compared with photos like this. I am determined to beat you at it but it is winters cold that is putting me off!
