      One of the important things with any wildlife photography is eye contact with your subject so this shot doesn't really work. This is a pose swans and many other water birds strike and often just by moving around you will find they are snoozing with their eye open

        Agree with Stan. Good eye contact is essential and they also cover a "multitude of sins- i.e omissions etc"!
