    I like it, but the oof branches are a bit of a distraction and there are quite a few smudgy bits going on on the bottom rh corner of the image?

      Hi, Reevo, this is where they are in the natural surround, I agree it would be better with a more out of focus background, but if you want to take there is no choice, maybe I should not have posted, I must have missed the smudge,s there was a lot of cloning

        No, that's not the point of this forum & if you don't post, we can't comment. I would worry less about the background than the smudges. Would I be right in thinking you could have been a bit more accurate with the clone tool?

          It's all about learning as I have done. If it were my shot I would clone out all of the branches other than the one it's sitting on! And, deal with the smudges.

          I'm not saying it's a bad shot, just offering honest critique.

              Ben perhaps a closer crop to cut down on cloning needed ,I would also suggest lowering the highlights and lifting the shadows slightly .and in retrospect ,the majority of comments on this forum are constructive ,I learned a lot by listening to comments from others .
