    Kestrel Update 2016-3

    Not a great deal happening as the birds are busy incubating at the moment. Every time I visit its either the male or female in the nest. Don't seem to be having any luck seeing a handover or food pass.

    I hope eggs hatch soon as I'm away on holiday shortly and looks like I might miss the event.

    Anyway thought I'd post this image from this morning. Its very warm here and meant the birds were able to uncover the eggs. You can see one just in front of the bird. Colour can be quite variable from cream to dark brown, often a mottle of these two colours.
