    Puffins in Flight

    Had a couple of half days recently at RSPB Bempton Cliffs and the surround coastline and will have a few pictures to post over the coming weeks. These were not taken at Bempton but another location given to me by Jeff ( aka the blackfox )
    which was a great place to see puffins although I did see them at the RSPB reserve aswell

    1DX, and 7D2 ,500mmf4mkii, 300mmf2.8, 400mm f5.6 , 100mm - 400mmmk2 ,70-200mm f2.8 ,24-105mm f4, 100mm f2.8 macro , 1.4x converter, 2x converter and a big dose of luck !!

    Nice images but I suppose if there is a slight negative its that the birds are moving away from the camera.

      Nice and sharp images. Very well captured though flying a bit away from you. One cannot ask nature to do the "right thing" for you and face the camera!!!!!!

        Well caught Steve - it would all be so much easier if someone would teach the little blighters to fly straight & level!
