    Peregrine Falcon

Spent a couple of hours watching adult Peregrines teaching their young to hunt in the skies over some cliffs on the Island today. It was an amazing sight! Watching the young playing and practising was a joy to watch, and the speed in which they dive is quite stunning!

Not the best of photographs as the lighting was very inconsistant with most photographs being taken towards the light.

    Well done Stuart.

Seeing them in the wild is wonderful and having the camera with you is even better.

      I beg to differ!

I'd be deliriously happy to have bagged either of those!

Seen 'em a few times, but I've never been within shooting distance of a Peregrine!

Feel free to edit & re-post as you see fit - but please - tell me what you have done to 'improve' the shot!

I would be happy with either of those shots knowing how fast they travel when in the stoop
