    Pelicans

While on St. Maarten, the wife and I walked over to Fort Amsterdam from Philipsburg. Fort Amsterdam also happens to be the nesting grounds for the Pelicans. I had only brought my EOS-M3 and the 5DMKIII. On the 5D I had the Tamron 70-200 f/2.8 with the Tamron 1.4x. When I took these images.

Great set, Tom. I prefer 1 and 3, as number 2 gets slightly lost against the background clutter; I can't believe that I'm about to question your settings, but I see you were on f/11, would it have helped to have opened it up a bit more?

Thanks Ian, Sue, Alex & John.

Alex, it was the 1st time I used that set up, so I was getting use to that kit. Normally I would be using the 7D w/Tamron 150-600.

                  If that makes sense
