    Little Egret Lunch help

Hi all , like most of us , I am trying to catch up on some processing , going through a heap of Egret photos , I noticed him eating this bug , yes it is a bug , but look at the size of it ! My guess is it`s a Dragonfly larva , but anyone else give some sort of I.D on it ? This is a stupid crop , its only by blowing the image up that it shows it`s something different really . I would really like to know what it is , as it is indeed starting to bug me . (pun intended ) .

Like the framing, but the eye seems a bit soft to me.

Well spotted; however I find that the whites are a bit blown in that there is not much detail there.

Hi guys , thanks for the comments , but please read the post , it`s a huge crop , that`s why it looks soft and blown on the whites . I am trying to identify what he is eating , will post less cropped photos later hopefully .
            Cheers Mark .

I would estimate the thing in his mouth is about 3.5cms long , it`s very big for an insect .
