    Male and Female Peregrine

The local pair have returned and can often be seen high on the cliff face above the nest site. These were approx 70metres high and so large crops. Hopefully, they will be successful this year in rearing young as they were washed out last year after a really torrential storm forced them off the nest during incubation

Of course the angle is much too steep but good record shots. We have a pair that nest on the clock tower in Bournemouth and then there are the Chichester Cathedral perigrins both of which are really too high up to try and shoot

It will be interesting to try and catch them in flight Steve, a bit nippy I think.

like no 1. tree root seems to add to the feel of the wild. What about a drone? no perhaps not; too much of a chance to drive them off or injure.

They are a protected species , any such disturbance would lead to prosecution

Prefer the second, showing the feather pattern on the back but as others have said, unfortunately it's never going to be too successful looking up at that angle.
