to be honest, robins are about the easiest birds to photograph, more often than not they pose out in the open and just sit there waiting for you to take a few shotsI fully agree that Robins move very quickly and usually hide inside some foliage or the other. I have been lucky this time.

Thanks Stan. I must say yes and no. Sometimes the Robins sit very patiently close to you and I have no trouble photographing them. However, on closer look I find that they are the "ringed" ones. The unringed ones seem to dart quickly out of sight.
