        Nicely taken Stan.

        That pose hides the jesses and shows her to full advantage in a natural setting. She is also a rather pretty girl.

        I have just tried a piece of card against the left of the shot and losing the lighter part of the tree stump does concentrate the view toward the Barn Owl. I would suggest a re-crop, or darkening the left hand side if you are particularly keen on a square crop.

            same as the kestrels posted last week

            That pose hides the jesses and shows her to full advantage in a natural setting. She is also a rather pretty girl
            only a couple of months old and originally posed with the jesses showing but she jumped down into the "hole" and effectivly hid all signs of captivity and thats when I started shooting

            I did the square crop originally as she was looking forward and wanted to keep some space either side, however I have already cropped 2 :3 and as an A4 as this one will be used for both greeting cards and prints for craft fayres later in the year
