    KF on the rocks

the water level outside the hide is quite low at the moment and reveals the rocks/foundations of the sand martin nesting wall and sometimes the kingfishers will land here for their ablutions

Well done Stan, you beat me to it.

I have the same shot, but I missed the poo. Pressed the button too early, or too late, but no poo.

          thanks guys

I got a similar one last year but on one of the perches and for such a little bird they do it with some force

I remember until quite recently one of the RSPB posters showed similar but with a cormorant - now you wouldnt want to be in the line of fire for that

I know how that Kingfisher feels.

Six hours in a traffic jam and finally, I can barely walk into the service station with buttocks clenched to the max.
