              Thanks everyone for your comments.

              Stan. Yes, left home at 4am got there at 6am only one there for the first hour. Two KF's on perch when I arrived.
              Light was good to start but backed down just after 8.30am. No KF activity after 9.30am
              Settings: ISO 1600 - 1/250th - f8 - 600mm

                Two KF's on perch when I arrived.
                Light was good to start but backed down just after 8.30am. No KF activity after 9.30am
                Settings: ISO 1600 - 1/250th - f8 - 600mm
                just shows you can never be totally certain with any wildlife. Settings are almost identical to mine but for the first hour on Monday, I was only getting 1/40 sec, which looked OK on the camera but some were quite soft on the big screen - some at that speed were Ok though
