I was lucky to get a few shots at all as the camera had got knocked onto manual mode with settings used a few days before. Luckily they were just the right settings for an almost perfect exposure

I've done it a few times and usually results in a way overexposed shot or just a more or less black screenBeen there; done that, as I guess we all have ...

The greatest 'panic' I ever had as a result of that was a trip to The Eden Project... it was a particularly cold day; and we had a longish walk from the car-park. Foolishly we ventured into the hot-house first - big bad move... Despite being very careful, (obviously not careful enough!) humidity took over and drenched my kit! ... Immediate thoughts of electrical-circuitry failure... until it finally dawned on me that the dial had slipped obviously while I'd been trying to dry the kit off... panic over :phew: !
