    goldfinches through the living room window

    couple of shots I got this morning .taken through the double glazed windows which are covered in sand after the recent storms ( must get SWMBO out to clean them) can't get the enthusiasm up to go out in this weather of late

      Very nice Jeff, although perhaps a little lift of the shadow.

      I don't want to cause any matrimonial upset but seeing the good lady allows you the use of her lens - could you not return the favour and clean the windows

        Yep just done it myself she even let me use her Kärcher window vac ,spotless now what a machine . Filled the feeders up as well .got three huge bags of sunflower hearts from Homebase the other day for £2 for 4kg in there sale

          Compared to Homebase normal price that was certainly a bargain.

          For those times when they don't have a sale on, you might want to check out your local agricultural feed & seed merchant - I pay £23 for 20Kg of sunflower hearts at my local emporium. Mind you, you also need a metal dustbin to store them in in order to keep the mice out!
