It's been a while since I was able to get out and about thanks to work and weather, but looking at the stunning pictures posted in the last month or so have made up for that.
I'm more of an opportunist photographer of birds and animals so here's one from a walk on the beach at Applecross. This little bird was hard to spot as it looked for insects amongst the debris washed up on the beach.
