The first whitethroat of the year for me, singing his little heart out he was. You can have facing forwards but with a twig in the way or facing away but a slightly cleaner shot!

Lovely shot Chris, does it matter if there's a twig in the way, its how you saw the picture, to me that is a natural looking shot. Not messed about with. I'm not a great fan of what I term 'Field Guide images' where everything's been removed from the BG. We never did it in the days of film (or I never did) why do it now. - I can get quite carried away over this.
