After seeing the new arrivals the other day the weather has been less than ideal. Yesterday was a very strong and gusty wind (opposite of prevailing direction so almost directly into nest site) that was a bit chill so female wasn't for moving much.
In fact she spent most of her time dozing

When she did move the young kept very low in the nest so can't update on numbers.
Did see this goldfinch (on edge of window on the left) which appeared to be collecting feathers etc. Seemed unaware of any possible danger

Though in all the time I've watched kestrels at this site there has never been a bird brought as a prey item, always rodents and normally voles.
We've had very low cloud early part of the day, such that ISO was always above 3200 and nothing much happened anyway.
