    Hi All,

    At last managed to catch a Little Owl on a post, a juvenile I think?

    Nice images. We have them locally but never photographed them.

      That is two great shots Paul, well done, the first is definitely a juvenile, but the second looks somewhat older. Is it the same bird or perhaps the first was the runt of the litter.

        Two lovely shots, I do like little owls but don't think I've ever seen one in the wild.

          two lovely shots Paul but on the second you need to clone out the vegetation to the top of the log and the top right corner as the thick blue shadows around the leaves spoil the shot

              Thanks for looking Guys, there were 3 flitting about, I think one adult and 2 Juve's, the adult in the tree sat for ages, I have lots of shots with it's eyes closed, think it was napping, but it was in really deep shadow under the canopy but with a bright sky immediately behind it, I tried right up to +2 Exp but still had to lift the shadows a lot which gave a lot of noise.

              Going back later to see if they come out for an evening sortie
