GC Grebe with lunch for the kids

Recently had a good session with some local Grebes who are on their third attempt this year at trying to raise a family , with the previous two having been predated I assume by Pike or Heron. Lay on my inflatable groundsheet in the reeds at the edge of the pool for a few hours in stunning late afternoon sunlight and came away with a few nice shots. This is one for starters and may well post a few more if you don't get bored.

What a difference it makes if you can get down to almost water level.
