The reflection is on layer of very thin ice and the goosander is just on where the ice meets the water.Gary Cantwell LSINWP. ASINWP.

In this case, more of local knowledge for once.
During the night the temperature was below zero and I knew my local pond( which I live next to) would be frozen and I would get an opportunity of some type reflection shots.
With this shot the reflection is on a thin layer of ice and the goosander's feet is breaking the ice as it is runningGary Cantwell LSINWP. ASINWP.
