Re: hawk at Leeds Castle
Well, without any size reference, it looks bigger than a Sparrow Hawk and smaller than a Buzzard. Too stocky for a Kite and totally wrong for a Peregrine, so that leaves me with a Goshawk.
Could be a non UK bird and there are hundreds of them, but assuming UK I would stick with Juvenile Goshawk.Colin

Re: hawk at Leeds Castle
I was pleased with this from the quality of the picture from such a cheap little thing. The M5 gives good pictures from static objects but not from fast moving …. seems not to focus quick enough
I am still working out weather to keep the M5 along with either my 7D or the 1DX2 - it is a hard decision. I would consider just having 2 mirrorless and ending up with a R and M50.
Lens I am happy with - 16-35 F2.8 II, 24-105 II, 70-200II and 100-400II would be the core - and then various non zooms such as 135 f2, 200 f2.8 and the 600F4 are keepers.
Next test is to go back and take similar pictures with the 7D II
