    Canada Geese - homeward bound?

    I wish they actually were!! Messy things and eat all the grazing for the sheep. Here is a 'gaggle' - don't think that is right, taking off the other night.

    Now that is a lot of birds, I like the picture with the main diagonal and lovely sky

      Hi Diana;

      I agree with your sentiments about the Canadas...

      I think geese in flight are called a 'skein' ; on the ground, they're a 'gaggle'

      Cheers...

        Hello Diana.

        Well seen a captured. The diagonal of the front line works well for me and if I was into dot to dot drawing, there must be a picture in the trailing geese.

            Thannks for kindn comments - yes, I think a skein sounds right when they are in flight. I think you can have a skein of wool, too?? Rather like the old Rod, pole and perch measurements!!
