        Much nicer in their spring / summer colours in my opinion . Guess you was quite patient or very stealthy to get this , as they disappear under the water for quite some time if they cotton on your there .

                Thanks everyone for looking and your feedback.

                PS. I spent almost three hours watching it. Working on the assumption that it had visited every area of the pond while I was there, it would only be time before it came my way, and it did!
