    Juvenile Little Owl

    Hi All,

At last something different to Barneys and Hares. I have watched this hole in the tree for the last few years and until this morning never seen a thing in it, I was able to catch a few shots, I will return and hope to catch a Parent too. Very dark inside the hole and a well camouflaged bird too

I think I prefer the landscape shot???

Two nice shots Paul your watching paid dividends. I always say field work pays off, build up a picture of what's going on.

Very good couple of images. Interesting to think that they are an introduced species (end of 19th century) but suppose now considered naturalised.

Thanks for the encouraging comments Guys, this hole is in the perfect place to catch the early morning Sun so I hope to get some golden hour shots, though not today as it's hissing it down in Lincolnshire!!
