    Female pheasant

    Went for a walk around Ham Wall RSPB yesterday. It was a bit quiet but walking along the edge of one of the rhynes I stopped to look at some ducks and this bird broke cover having laid in hiding while my wife strolled past.

              Thanks everyone. It was interesting to see this bird running as it’s gait looked very similar to that of the velociraptors on Jurassic Park. I’m guessing it was copied…
