    Unusual Chaffinch.

    Haven't seen her for a year (presume it is the same one) but good to see it is still alive as it gets bullied by other Chaffinch when here. Not a great shot as had to grab my camera and get it through the d/g.

    Most likely a leucistic bird, partial pigmentation loss. Often noticeable in birds with dark plumage, blackbird, crow, etc.

    Can occur in all species.

      We used to have a blackbird round my way that was perfectly normal except both wing were white.
