    Reed bunting

At RSPB Old Moor today and was lucky to catch the male reed bunting with a beak full of dragonflies. Obviously some hungry mouths to feed.

Excellent shot Ant. Would grace the front cover of a magazine.

Thanks everyone for comments. No real editing needed just a bit of cropping to change position of bird in frame. Background due to distant foliage which is well OOF.

A right time, right pale shot.

I have looked at this image again and I have to agree with Brian.

A super sharp image of the Reed Bunting and the extra interest with the dragon fly, coupled with a super creamy blurred background exudes quality. Worthy of a magazine cover.

You're starting to make me blush now Colin. Sometimes an image is just right and think this works well.

By the way I've looked at the body count and think I can see at least 3 dragonfly bodies.
