Certainly more colourful than most UK birds
The roller is my favourite, good detail and a nice eye catchlight - it is a little tight at the top and left, did you have any more room

Hi Stan

Thanks for the comments. The Roller is the complete picture not a crop; it was a case of being so pleased to get a close up of the bird that we had seen several times during the day I didn't stop to consider the full picture and zoomed a bit tight! The birds were a complete surprise to me being so colourful the blue one below is a starling!
You would have liked the Fish Eagles we saw and would certainly have done them more justice than I managed judging by you Kite photos; I'll post some to see what you think.
