    It's my ball...

Caught in my local park. I know less about dogs than birds and I know nowhere near as much about birds as I'd like so according to the owner, the brown and white dog is a Terrier/Chihuahua cross but I have no idea what the other is...

very nice action shot and well caught, both of you - shame you didn't get all the other dog but catching them moving at that speed isn't easy!

Very nice shot of my favorite subject, not counting cake of course. It's very hard to get the focus bang on when the dogs are running because of the bobbing up and down....this is excellent.

You caught a good expression and action

If you crop on the left just to include the front paws of the dog, it would look more like that was the composition you intended rather than he;s clipped the end off the dog

          Thanks for looking everyone.

Stan, I'll have a look at that crop this evening. Thanks for the suggestion. There are a couple more from the same batch - this one just before the shot above was at a longer range so they both fit in, but it's not as good in terms of expression:

And then this one head-on as the first dog ran towards me although I need to look at the lighting on this one:

I very much like all three and Stan's comment is right in that the crop is a purposeful one and not just "Oh the tail has been clipped"

The second last one I would like to see as a narrow letterbox crop as to my "old feeble eyes" it would give a feeling of fast motion. (I am into motion images at the moment )
How would the last one look as a square crop I wonder?

that last one is a super expression but needs a crop and a bit of toning down with the colours

Thanks for the feedback everyone, much appreciated.

I think the issue on the last one was a +10 on saturation which seemed to blow all of the colours. So this is herself without that and a tighter square crop.

Cheers Ian I should have asked if she wanted a copy but didn't. If I see her again, I'll see if she's interested...
