    Wild Garlic Flower

    well I think it is ;o).... been a while since I bolted the old 100 mm on and had a walk around the garden and spotted this growing ....pretty amazing considering Sid eats anything ;o)

    Black background suits both very well, bit too much dead space above the first - I would crop from the top but keep the same aspect ratio

          Yes too much dead space in the first. The second however is really rather stunning. Reminds me of a firework going off.

                Stan's right, but apart from that they are both lovely sharp and striking images. Assume you've added the black background?

                  cheers Alex ... nope all shot in my garden with a ring flash, love the way they can help with loosing the background - the flower was shot pointing straight towards blue sky

                    Both look good against the black mate ,have to agree about have crop but everything else works a treat,
                    Silly question what does a flash ring do ?
