The sun on Brownsea yesterday brought out a few butterflies but only the common ones like this small white

Sadly; yes... there's still a few around & about; seen some clouded yellows over the last week or so, but not much else on the butterfly front now...

Last weekend we had some fine warm weather locally and my late flowering buddleia was visited by many red admiral, peacock, small tortoiseshell and large white butterflies.

The bit of warm weather has also fooled some other plants, the dog roses have flowered again despite being covered in hips and over past few days have heard chiffchaffs calling!!
