    Micro Moth

    In the UK there are less than 70 different species of butterfly but over 2500 different moths of which 900 are classed as micro moths, ie very small and many look similar with the same colourings. So I am not going to try and ID this one, but quite common amongst the grasses at Arne but very difficult to spot once they have landed. This one was less than 1cm long

      Great detail. As usual these moths always land head down making it very frustrating to photograph.

        As usual these moths always land head down making it very frustrating to photograph
        I was lucky with this one as there was nothing much in the way
