    Little Egret Flight

    A little egret on a flypast the hide on Brownsea this week - only needed the 300 f4 for this one

          Very nice Stan, difficult balance keeping the whites and retaining sky detail, but you have cracked it.

            Thanks guys

            difficult balance keeping the whites and retaining sky detail, but you have cracked it.
            with both the sky and the bird being similar light tones it was in fact a lot easier to expose than had say the egret being flying against trees or vegitation. I was shooting Av and only needed +1/3 Ev

              Another great shot, Egrets tend to elude me, have a few shots but they are always just out of reach for anything descent. Nicely handled on the exposure as well

                Egrets tend to elude me, have a few shots but they are always just out of reach for anything descent.
