British Wildlife Centre yesterday

Had a good day at BWC but quite difficult with the changing weather but it did mean it was less busy
First up, one of the scottish wildcat kittens


the water voles are still very visible at times spoilt for choice with 3 in view

first time seeing the badgers out since our very first visit 3 years ago

Stan - good mix of shots... you never know what you're going to see there!

A Badger was out last time I went (at mid-day!) and I managed a quite good shot or two of a Water Vole, but I haven't yet seen the Wildcat kittens... so cute!

I feel a forum meet up coming along soon, I know 2 or 3 that have expressed an interest!

The cat will always get my vote ... nice kitty.

So was the badger the best catch? ... I thought they only came out in the dark (obviously not the case here).

certainly the animal i have seen least in previous visits. They have a keeper talk at 3pm and during that there was only the one badger out but after it finished and the remaining food was scattered two others appeared very quickly

I feel a forum meet up coming along soon, I know 2 or 3 that have expressed an interest!

you will probably have to be quick as I think apart from school holidays they are closed from end of October to March

unfortunately we wont be able to make it having just returned from hols in Bruges

Here's a couple more shots, both Dee's, she managed to get two of the badgers in the frame


and another of one of the foxes - this I think demonstrates that provided you set the camera up properly shooting at ISO 1600 on the 7D is no problem at all
