    My first shot with flashgun and umbrella - off camera flash

    I eventually got my Yongnuo RF-602 wireless triggers through this week and i've been dying to try out off camera flash.

    I have a Yonguo 560-II manual flash so I set about setting up the stand, bracket and 34" shoot through umbrella.

    This is one of the results. My 50mm 1.8 is really playing up on focus so lots missed.

    Stand was set up just over my head to the left about 6ft in the air.

    That's a great shot Paul. gorgeous eyes. Shame the cup was there really, would be a seller otherwise!

    I've used my RF603s loads, and think they're great.

    Look forward to seeing more flash work from you soon,

        Yeah I was kind of annoying her with the camera. lol Tomorrow we're going to try some proper shots I think :)

          Great stuff Paul well done.

                I like this Paul, the cup adds a bit of mystery, but I would like to see some without it as well.

                  I did take a few pics, but she really wasn't in the mood. I'm short on people to take pics of. Nobody I know wants to be in front of the camera. I asked about in work but the worst reply I got was "I'd rather get a pro to do my portraits thanks"

                  I was defeated that day...
