Was in London for the St Patricks Day Parade from Hyde Park to Trafalgar Square - was by lucky accident rather than design. Enjoyed watching the parade as it went along Piccadilly and looking at some of the characters marching, eg -
--- a new National Costume? (The hint of a hat belongs to the person standing behind.)
Blowing hard in the Pipe Band - (glad no sound, don't really like the pipes) -
And they did have trouble with the old cars that were taking part -
And some things were totally bewildering and I couldn't see any Irish connection -
Lots of Guinness (might explain the picture above) and River Dance style dancing in evidence.
