I went on a photo shoot yesterday where we took some models to an old derelict building, all taken with a 5D3, 24-105 and either just natural light or natural light plus a single 580 off camera flash.

Yes, I like those as well! Very gothic (with the odd hint of burlesque - in 4).
I wish we did more like that and fewer competitions! By the time we have had four print and four DPI and various other ad hoc competitions, there is little time for nurturing skills, knowledge and creativity!

All great shots this is something I would love to do . Maybe now I have the gear to have flash off camera I will be able to I have a few ideas for venues.
