    ISO 12800

So I took the 7D MK II to an event last night and photographed the event without flash. The event was in a school auditorium. I Set the Camera to manual and the ISO to 12800

    7D MK II w/EF 24-105L @ 73mm
    1/100sec @ f/5.6

Thanks MX5. I Imported the RAW using the DPP then exporting the images as a Tiff file before importing them into LR where I did some minor adjustments. I'll be glad when Adobe adds support for the 7D MK II.

That's pretty good, wish I had 1600 quid to spare. Is it me or is there still a bit of an orange cast? Might be my phone though.

Thanks Paul. There is a slight orange casting on the faces from the stage lighting.

Impressed Tom. I don't know whether you tried auto ISO for these flashless pictures. I prefer to use this setting(auto ISO) on my 6D.

Thanks Nat. No I didn't try the auto, was just pushing it to see how well it did.

Impressive Tom - they really have given the 7D a new life as before if you went past a 1000 you'd be struggling

Been waiting for shots like this. I keep looking at the 7dmkII and wondering how it copes with shots like this.
