The Smoker

While at a photo work shop, this gentleman was standing in the hot sun having a cigarette :

Shot using a canon 5DMII with a EF70-300 f/4-5.6L IS USM @ 160mm 1/250 sec @ f/5.6, ISO 200

Hmmm ............... could just do with lighting up one now. Gave up 19 months ago and still want 10 a day.

Hmmmmm..me also. I like the comp. Tom, but it just seems a little over cooked for my taste. Try bringing down the highlites a tad, its making my eyes sweat. I would really like to see a rework on this one so dont give up on it.

I like both versions - but not sure about the colouring - that seems like a modern subject in an old fashioned way
