The Mother's Union is often an unsung organisation, like the Salvation Army, that does a lot of good around this country and around the world. Yesterday, the St.Asaph Diocese had the opportunity of hosting the Annual festival with the World Wide President, Lynne Tembey, present; she was also the preacher.

Difficult conditions with the low light requiring high ISO and (almost) no flash. Some good colour. A good series Nat, I'm sure St. Asaph will be pleased with them.

Thank you very much Derek,Peter,Chris,Tom,Lunarbo,Russell,& Paul for stopping by and commenting. Much appreciated as always- whether positive or negative! Just for the information of the members, all my church photography has to be done without flash. I used my 6D on auto ISO,TV 125-80 ( as the light begins to fade- afternoon service), AV 6.3-5.0 (as the light begins to fade). As these are one off pictures I use RAW/Jpeg but have to convert to Jpeg to post on this forum (unless members can advice me otherwise). I have also sent some pics to Paul Varah whose father started the Samaritans. Paul is the editor of the MU newsletter "Roundabout"!. I have declined any fees and requested any money to be put into MU funds.

Nat surely if you are shooting in Raw/Jpeg then if the image is satisfactory the you can just upload the jpeg but if you are going to convert from raw to jpeg then you should just shoot raw and save the space for more images

I always check my Jpeg images first and if they are OK, I will use them. When I download, I always get both images on to my computer- RAW marked CR as well.

I'll never understand why you shoot in Raw & Jpeg ...but you got the shots
